The Widow’s Oil (2 Kings ) Say: God used Elisha to do a miracle for the whole nation of Israel. Next we see that God is just as concerned about individual people. God had compassion on a woman who was left alone to raise her two young sons. The Widow is not a book filled with twists & turns so I wouldn't consider it a thriller. The Widow just has a simmering sense of dread through out the entire book. The reason I didn't give it 4 stars is because the characters weren't very deep. I didn't really feel /5.
